Progreso, Yucatán a 03 de abril de 2024. Ayer 2 de abril se conmemoró a nivel mundial el Día de la Concientización sobre el Autismo, en ese sentido, el Ayuntamiento de Progreso, a través de la Dirección de Educación, en coordinación con la Red Azul de la USAER 54, realizaron una actividad vespertina que tuvo como objetivo enfatizar la importancia de comprender a las personas con autismo, y también de invitar a más padres con hijos con autismo a unirse a la red de apoyo que hay en el municipio.
A dicha actividad, realizada en el parque Independencia, asistió el alcalde interino Roger Gómez Ortegón; la Sindico Municipal, Patricia Rosado González, así como regidores, y la titular de Educación, Dianela Núñez Castro, quien resaltó que la actual administración continuará trabajando con la USAER 54 para impulsar la Red Azul, la cual ha sido de gran ayuda para los padres que tienen hijos con autismo, también conocido como Trastorno del Espectro Autista (TEA).
Por su parte, el director de la USAER 54 y titular del proyecto Red Azul, César Chan Mendoza, indicó que el grupo, el primero en el municipio, inició a principios de este año y busca que padres encuentren un lugar donde se les pueda brindar acompañamiento e información oportuna sobre el TAE.
Ambas autoridades precisaron que la Red Azul cuenta con el número telefónico 9991 02 95 97 para más información. El horario de atención es de 9 de la mañana a 4 de la tarde.
A este evento también acudieron la directora de Fomento al Desarrollo Agropecuario y Pequeños Productores, Patricia Sauri Barroso; la directora de la Zona Escolar 09 de Educación Especial, Leticia Cisneros Ávila.
También los directores del CAM No.5 y 6: María Ordaz Cervera y Jorge Vera Crisanti, respectivamente; la directora de la USAER No.12, Shanik Flores Martín, así como los directores: Gladys María Montalvo, de la Secundaria Técnica. No.8, Juan Lucio Medina y Jessica Juárez Tamayo, de Secundaria “Benito Juárez”.
Para concluir el evento, los niños de las escuelas asistentes entregaron a las autoridades municipales e invitados especiales ejemplares de plantas, como muestra de solidaridad y de esperanza.
