Hoy en día, las mexicanas y mexicanos se sienten más seguros que en 2018, aseguró la virtual Presidenta electa, Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo, tras presentar los resultados de la más reciente Encuesta Nacional de Seguridad Urbana (ENSU) que realiza el Instituto Nacional de Geografía y Estadística (INEGI).
“Más allá de los propios datos que claramente muestran la disminución de homicidios y de otros delitos, las personas hoy se sienten más seguras que en 2018 y de ahí vamos a tomar el gobierno el 1o. de octubre y nuestro objetivo es todavía disminuir más y con mayor rapidez (…) como lo hicimos con la Estrategia en la Ciudad de México”, comentó en conferencia de prensa, desde su Casa de Transición. De acuerdo con la ENSU de junio de 2024, Claudia Sheinbaum expuso que a nivel nacional la percepción de inseguridad pasó de 76.8 por ciento en 2018 a 59.4 por ciento en junio de 2024, gracias al trabajo realizado por el Presidente, Andrés Manuel López Obrador.
Mientras que la percepción de inseguridad de la Ciudad de México disminuyó —durante su periodo como Jefa de Gobierno— de 91.7 por ciento en junio de 2018 a 59 por ciento en junio de 2023. En tanto que de junio de 2023 a junio de 2024, disminuyó a 51.5 por ciento.
“En el caso de la Ciudad de México es importante porque la disminución es todavía mayor, yo dejé la ciudad en junio del 2023; entonces de junio de 2018 que el 91.7 por ciento de las personas que vivían en la ciudad en ese momento se sentían inseguras, prácticamente todas las personas se sentían inseguras; cuando yo dejo la ciudad, el 59 por ciento, una reducción muy importante, se sienten inseguras; y después el trabajo que hace Marti Batres de junio de 2023 a junio de 2024 hay una disminución importante al 51.5 por ciento”, refirió. Por ello, recalcó que “México ha avanzado en disminución de la inseguridad y vamos a avanzar todavía más”. Entre otros temas, la virtual Presidenta electa señaló que la marcha que pretende realizar la oposición contra del número de representantes de la 4T en el Congreso de la Unión, realmente es para pedirle al Instituto Nacional Electoral (INE) que viole la Constitución Política de los Estados Unidos Mexicanos.
“Hoy en La Mañanera mostró la secretaria de Gobernación, nuevamente, el tema de la representación de los plurinominales. Están convocando a una manifestación nuestros adversarios políticos para pedirle al INE que se viole la Constitución, porque dicen que hay sobrerrepresentación y la manifestación es contra la sobrerrepresentación. Entonces, en realidad lo que le están pidiendo al INE es: ‘INE, viola la Constitución´. Los que hablan de Estado de Derecho, de respeto a las instituciones, de ‘EL INE no se toca´, etcétera, están convocando a una marcha para que el INE viole la Constitución”, aseveró. Por ello, recordó que la representación de los plurinominales está establecida a partir de la votación de los partidos políticos, no de las coaliciones.
